Verification and selection

Each item is carefully examined by our team of experts.

We verify the origin, construction quality, condition, and accuracy of details to the original model. Only items that meet the Sequoia Select criteria are accepted for sale.

After selection, each item is cleaned and photographed in natural light, without retouching or filters, to represent it faithfully and authentically.

Counterfeit or non-compliant items

Sequoia Select does not handle or accept counterfeit or dubious items.

If the item is suspected of being inauthentic, it will be excluded from any process. Returns are possible only with return shipping costs paid by the sender and upon signature of a release.

Sellers who list fake or non-compliant items may be permanently removed from the platform and subject to legal action.

Each inspection is documented and tracked, to ensure maximum transparency and customer protection.

Condition assessment

Each item receives a rating from 1.0 to 5.0 , which represents its overall condition.

The score is assigned after a careful inspection of the materials, finishes, and signs of use, to ensure maximum transparency for the buyer.

5.0 / Excellent: Item in perfect condition, with minimal or imperceptible signs of use. Materials intact, bright colors, solid stitching. Unworn, rarely worn, or carefully stored.

4.0 / Excellent: The item is in excellent overall condition, with light, natural signs of wear that are irrelevant to the overall appearance. All details and finishes are in good condition and well preserved.

3.0 / Good: Item in good condition, with visible signs of wear consistent with age and use. No structural defects, fully wearable.

2.0 / Worn: Item with obvious signs of aging or small imperfections that testify to its history. It may have slight color changes or wear to the materials, but remains authentic and interesting.

1.0 / Vintage character: Heavily worn item, with defects or marked wear. May be chosen for its aesthetic, collectible, or historical value.

This numerical evaluation is always accompanied by an accurate textual description, which reports:

• Any signs of use or distinctive features
• Notes on materials and fit
• Observations on general conservation

There are no standard formulas: each evaluation is the result of a human perspective and artisanal expertise.

Transparency for buyers

Each item is accompanied by real photographs and truthful descriptions.

All significant imperfections are clearly stated on the sheet.
